Studio Essence Games has revealed the launch date of its new massively multiplayer online game Essence: the release is set for November 2026. The developers presented the date on the project's official site and opened early-community sign-ups — so the MMORPG genre has gained another notable newcomer this year.
What Essence is
Essence is a free-to-play open-world MMORPG from studio Essence Games. The project bets on pace and comfort: in the developers' words, it is "a concentration of everything you love in MMORPGs" — less routine grind, more action. Simplified leveling, automation of repetitive tasks, and, at the same time, a deep character-progression system.

Essence Games puts a special emphasis on fairness: the team promises a transparent economy and minimal influence of the in-game shop on gameplay — no unlimited donations. By design, gear is earned in battle rather than bought in one click, and progress depends on the player's effort, not their wallet. The server, as stated, is built for the average player and fair competition.
Rewards for the early community
To mark the date announcement, Essence Games launched a limited giveaway for players who join early: rewards include a rare doll, a supply kit and a unique accessory, to be handed out at server launch. The number of gifts is limited.
