🦈 Fishing Vibes
Caught a glimpse of Azure Shore on Scryde X during the Summer Event — hundreds of anglers out there reeling in valuable loot. For those who haven't tried Event Fishing yet, here's the breakdown:
Head to Azure Shore (ALT+B → Azure Shore)
Talk to NPC Pierre and grab a sea fishing rod and bait. No skills needed! Just walk up to the water, tap the icon on the right side of the screen — fishing starts automatically.
Pick up a Fisherman's Meal from Pierre — grants full immunity to monsters that attack fishermen. Duration: 3 hours.
🐟 There are four types of fish in the waters:
🐟 Yellowfin Tuna (special fish used only to exchange for 🌴 Deep Sea Treasure at NPC Pierre)
🐟 Largemouth Bass
🐟 Mahi-Mahi
🐠Stonefish
Fillet your catch (double-click it) to receive Sea Pieces of Eight — the currency of pirates and seafarers, found among the wreckage of sunken ships or inside fish bellies. Exchange them at Pierre for various rewards and useful buffs:
Skilled Gatherer — increases PvE damage by 5%
Treasure Raider — increases character rates by 5%
Sea Fortune — +1% enchant success chance
Nimble Hands — increases fishing speed by 30%
Sea Blessing — increases successful catch chance by 15%
🎣 Pro tip: there's a small chance your regular rod breaks — and you'll have to buy a new one. Better go straight for the Enhanced Sea Rod: it never breaks, boosts fishing speed, and raises the daily limit from 250 to 500 fish. Pierre also sells Glowing Bait — doubles your chance of catching a rare fish.
Every 3 hours (±20 minutes) the entire Azure Shore will come under attack from Sea Monsters — killing them also drops Sea Pieces of Eight.
