Arcane World (arcaneworld.net) is an international multi-server project built on Lineage 2. The team describes it as a "server complex with unique game mechanics, stable uptime and a responsive administration." Its core declared value is a No P2W policy (no pay-to-win advantages): the in-game shop is limited to cosmetics and convenience services, while in-game power — gear, level and skills — is earned purely through play.
The project covers several game formats at once. Across its servers you can play the Main chronicle (in the GoD Reworked edition), Classic and Essence, letting players choose between authentic low-rate gameplay and accelerated progression. History
The exact first launch date of Arcane World is not publicly documented. Based on indirect data from forums (PMFun, GoHa.Ru) and ranking aggregators, the project has existed since at least the early 2020s. Early iterations ran on the GoD Reworked chronicle with x3 rates, and that is when the project's original community formed.
One documented launch is August 25, 2023: that day a Classic server opened on the Classic 2.8 chronicle at x1 rate. The opening was announced on the PMFun forum. Later iterations added an Essence-chronicle server, as well as servers named Wolf and Dragon that separate content tracks.
Over its lifetime the project has repeatedly refreshed its server lineup. New seasons were announced with revised settings — added items, rebalancing, fresh siege schedules. This practice is typical of long-running Lineage 2 servers with a persistent audience.
Gameplay & Rates
Gameplay on Arcane World servers is built on Lineage 2 mechanics without fundamental changes to the base architecture. The team claims to use "original logic and deeply developed mechanics based on PTS files and formulas." It specifically advertises the absence of hidden balance tweaks and a rejection of the pay-to-win model.
Rates vary by server:
- Classic x1 — authentic leveling pace, aimed at long-term progression and hardcore players. Recorded on the server that launched in August 2023.
- GoD Reworked x3 — moderately accelerated progression: XP, Skill Points (SP), Adena and drop are three times the original base values. This format appeals to players who want to reach endgame content without months of grinding.
- Essence — a separate format for players familiar with the modern Lineage 2 edition.
PvP includes the standard Lineage 2 set: castle sieges, the Olympiad, chaos zones and open-world flagged PvP. Class balance is managed by the team based on statistics and community feedback. Crafting and trading run on the standard Lineage 2 economy with recipes and materials.

Community
The Arcane World community forms around an international player base. Its official channels are Discord, the YouTube channel @arcaneworldofficial, the Instagram page @_arcaneworld_ and Facebook arcaneworldl2. Forum activity is recorded on PMFun and GoHa.Ru.
The YouTube channel posts video guides, siege footage, PvP clips and comparative server reviews. Content is produced both by the official team and by community players. Some of it is in English — evidence of deliberate outreach to European and American audiences.
The administration stays in touch with players through Discord, where it posts patch notes, new-server announcements and answers to technical questions. Balance changes and new-season launches are covered well in advance, which reduces player churn during content transitions.
Among Russian-speaking players Arcane World is known mainly for its Classic server; international audiences more often mention the Main format on the GoD Reworked chronicle.
