RPG-Club is one of the oldest and best-known independent MMORPG worlds in the CIS region, running continuously since 2004. The project holds a special place in the history of the Russian-speaking MMORPG scene. Many players who discovered the genre in the mid-2000s first set foot on RPG-Club servers. Stable uptime, no frequent wipes and a consistent administration policy helped it keep a core of loyal players for two decades. History
RPG-Club was founded in 2004, at the height of MMORPG popularity in Russia and the CIS. Back then, official Lineage 2 servers were hard to reach for Russian-speaking players because of the language barrier, high subscription costs and technical limits. Independent worlds offering free access and Russian-language support quickly filled that gap.
In its early years RPG-Club targeted players looking for a stable server with fair administration and no abuse from the management team. By 2006–2007 it had gathered a sizable audience and become one of the most recognizable brands in the Russian-speaking MMORPG segment.
Between 2008 and 2012, RPG-Club went through several game-version updates, each adding content and bringing in new players. The administration took a conservative approach to updates, favoring stability and careful testing over rushing new content out the door.
By the mid-2010s the project faced tougher competition from newer MMORPG worlds, yet it kept its loyal player base on the back of its reputation for reliability and stability. Many players who left for other worlds later returned to RPG-Club, valuing the predictability and quality of its game environment.
In the 2020s RPG-Club continues to run, maintaining a current version of its game content and regularly updating its server infrastructure. It remains one of the oldest active independent MMORPG worlds in the Russian-speaking space.
Gameplay
Gameplay on RPG-Club servers is built on the classic Lineage 2 formula, with a focus on group content, PvP and the clan system. The full class roster is available — from fighters and mages to archers and healers — each filling a defined role in the party.
The core game loop covers leveling your character through quests and mob grinding, group raids on world bosses, and PvP — from spontaneous open-world clashes to organized castle sieges. Sieges are the centerpiece of endgame content and draw hundreds of participants at once.
The RPG-Club economy runs on player-to-player trading. Key resources — gear, consumables and crafting materials — drop from regular mobs and Raid Bosses (RB). Market prices form naturally from supply and demand.
The clan system is central to the game. Clans band together into alliances to contest sieges, hold territory and clear PvE content together. Political relationships between clans — alliances, wars and betrayals — shape a unique social dynamic on every server.
RPG-Club runs the Olympiad — individual PvP tournaments where players compete for the Hero title in their class. Heroes earn unique privileges and form the server elite. The Olympiad rewards individual skill and deep knowledge of your own class mechanics.

On x3 servers, leveling a character to the cap takes several weeks of active play, which delivers a deep experience and makes every level and item count. The x10 servers offer a faster pace, letting you reach endgame content sooner and focus on PvP and clan activities.
RPG-Club's server infrastructure is hosted in Russia, giving CIS players low ping. The administration runs regular performance optimization, minimizing lag and keeping connections stable even during mass PvP events.
Community
The RPG-Club community is one of the oldest in the Russian-speaking MMORPG segment. Over more than twenty years, a settled culture has grown around the project, with its own traditions, memes and hierarchy. Many players who started on RPG-Club in 2004–2006 still log into the servers or stay connected through forums and social media.
The official RPG-Club forum was historically the main communication channel, hosting discussions of game mechanics, guides and the early formation of clan ties. As messengers grew, much of the conversation moved to Telegram and Discord, but the forum remains an important information source.
RPG-Club's clan culture is highly organized. Major clans run their own sites, voice servers and internal rules. Inter-clan relationships — alliances, wars and diplomacy — create a complex social structure that is one of the main reasons for players' long-term engagement.
