L2MAD (main site l2mad.ws, also l2mad.net) is an international unofficial Lineage 2 server complex running the Interlude chronicles. The project aims at a broad, global audience: the interface and support are built for players from different countries, and servers are regularly announced on international toplists. L2MAD's signature trait is its built-in autofarm and a wide rate range that lets you pick a pace from hardcore to extremely fast. It is a server built by an independent team, not by the rights holder NCSoft.

L2MAD.NET (a separate domain) leans toward a Russian-speaking audience with Russian-language support. Independent peak-online data is limited; the project does not disclose detailed statistics.
Criticism
L2MAD is an unofficial server with no affiliation to the game's publisher NCSoft, so the usual caveats for the wider Lineage 2 server scene apply. The publisher offers no guarantees on the safety of characters, progress or payments. Frequent new server openings effectively mean regular wipes: long-term progress does not carry over, and a large share of players leave as the online population drops after launch. The built-in autofarm, while officially allowed, shifts the server economy and lowers the value of time spent playing by hand. As with any server in this segment, treat payments and account security with care; the project's reputation is easiest to judge from independent reviews on toplist sites.
