Overview
TheBattle.Club is one of the most active and productive independent Lineage 2 MMORPG projects, running since 2016. Over its lifetime the team has hosted more than 53 server launches โ one of the highest counts in the scene. The project is built on the Lineage 2 universe and offers two main formats: x15 servers (mid-rate, slower pace) and x100 servers (high-rate, fast pace), covering a wide range of player preferences.
TheBattle.Club ranks among the leading MMORPG projects in its segment. Frequent launches, stable server infrastructure and careful attention to each server's settings have earned it a loyal player base and a solid reputation. Comparable projects include L2Gold, Euro-PVP and Gran Kain, though TheBattle.Club stands out for the variety of formats it offers and how often it launches.
History
TheBattle.Club was founded in 2016 by a team with an ambitious goal: build a regularly refreshed PvP destination with a high standard of quality. From its first months the project showed unusual discipline for the scene โ servers launched on schedule, every launch was carefully prepared, and player feedback fed directly into the setup of each new season.
Between 2016 and 2018, TheBattle.Club ran its first dozens of launches, quickly building experience and refining its server-prep process. Each new launch came with balance adjustments based on data from previous seasons. This iterative approach let the project reach a high level of polish in its game environment.
The 2019โ2021 period was a time of audience growth. TheBattle.Club added the x15 format alongside the existing x100, drawing in players who prefer a more measured pace. Running two formats in parallel let the project serve different segments of its audience under one roof.
By 2022โ2024, TheBattle.Club passed the 40-launch mark and kept up the pace. The project became a benchmark for the seasonal model in the MMORPG segment: predictable scheduling, stable quality and active communication with the community.
As of 2026, TheBattle.Club is still going, having reached the milestone of 53 launches. Each new season continues to draw a sizable audience, confirming that the chosen model works.
Gameplay
Gameplay on TheBattle.Club servers is built around PvP content and clan warfare. The two formats โ x15 and x100 โ deliver a different experience while keeping a shared PvP focus.
On x15 servers, leveling takes several days, giving a moderate ramp into the endgame. Players move through the stages of character development, building their gear through grinding, crafting and raids. PvP on x15 has tactical depth: gear and skill gaps are noticeable, and every clash has consequences.
x100 servers offer a far faster pace. Leveling takes hours, and the real content starts once you've built a combat-ready character and found a clan. PvP on x100 is more intense and less tactically deep in individual fights, but that's offset by the scale of clan battles and how fast events unfold.
Castle sieges are the centerpiece event on both server types. Siege prep, alliance-building and tactical planning make up a large part of the experience. Siege results shape the server's political map and influence the economy through control of key territories.
The economic model varies by server format. On x15 the economy is deeper: crafting, trading and resource gathering all play a significant role. On x100 the economy is simplified in favor of a heavier PvP focus.
Servers & Rates
TheBattle.Club runs on a seasonal model with regular launches. Two main formats cover different audiences.
| Format | Rate | Pace | Target audience |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mid-rate | x15 | Moderate | Tactical PvP, clan wars |
| High-rate | x100 | Fast | Intense PvP, mass battles |
Over the project's lifetime (since 2016) it has hosted more than 53 launches โ roughly one new server every 2โ3 months on average. Each launch ships updated settings, balance adjustments and, in some cases, new gameplay mechanics.
The seasonal model ensures a steady stream of new and returning players. Equal starting conditions on every new server remove the problem of newcomers falling behind veterans and keep the PvP environment competitive.
Community
The TheBattle.Club community brings together experienced PvP players, many of whom join every new launch. The rhythm of regular seasons creates a cycle: prep for the launch, intense play in the first weeks, a gradual drop in activity, then anticipation for the next season.
The main hangouts are Telegram, Discord and VK. In the run-up to a launch, chat activity spikes: clans recruit, discuss strategies and analyze the settings of the upcoming server. Between seasons the community stays connected through shared chats and discussions.
TheBattle.Club's clan culture is highly organized. Many clans have existed for years and join every new launch with established rosters and well-drilled coordination. Rivalries between these clans create a rich, competitive PvP environment.
Streaming is visible around every new launch: sieges, mass PvP and the opening days on a new server are regularly broadcast and draw a sizable viewership.
