Overview
Euro-PVP is an independent high-rate MMORPG project that has been running since 2014, built around PvP content on the Interlude chronicle of Lineage 2. It offers servers at x100 and x1200 rates plus a developed craft economy that sets it apart from the field. In over a decade of operation Euro-PVP has run more than 40 server launches โ a sign of a stable project that keeps pulling in an audience.
The name points to its European focus: the server infrastructure sits in Europe and the player base spans Russia, the CIS and EU countries. The craft economy is Euro-PVP's signature feature: unlike many high-rate servers where gear is sold by NPCs, here you have to craft it from components, which adds depth and a strategic layer to PvP. In format it sits close to L2Gold and TheBattle.Club, but stands out through its crafting system and wider rate range.
History
Euro-PVP was founded in 2014 by a team that wanted to build a quality PvP venue with European hosting and a well-thought-out economic model. By launch time the high-rate market was already crowded, so attracting players meant offering something different. The craft economy became the factor that set Euro-PVP apart.
Between 2014 and 2016 the project ran its first launches and built a core audience. The crafting system went through several iterations, each one improving the balance between how hard gear is to make and how fast the PvP content moves. By the end of that period Euro-PVP had found the sweet spot that became the standard for later seasons.
The 2017โ2019 stretch brought an expanded server lineup. The x100 format was added alongside x1200, drawing in players who prefer a steadier pace while keeping the PvP focus. Two parallel formats widened the project's reach and brought in a more varied audience.
From 2020 to 2023 Euro-PVP kept running steadily, launching new servers regularly and refining the game environment. The admin team built up serious experience running seasonal servers, letting each new launch land at a higher level than the last.
By 2026 Euro-PVP had passed the 40-launch mark and remains active. The project holds a steady spot in the high-rate MMORPG segment thanks to execution quality and a loyal player base.
Gameplay
Euro-PVP gameplay rests on three pillars: PvP combat, a craft economy and clan competition. Together they create an experience that differs from pure PvP servers where gear is instantly available.
On x100 servers, leveling a character takes a few hours, after which you move into the gearing phase through the crafting system. You gather components by hunting mobs, Raid Bosses (RB) and through PvP activity, then combine them to craft your gear. This creates an intermediate stage between leveling and pure PvP, adding economic depth to the loop.
On x1200 servers the pace is far higher: leveling takes minutes, and the focus shifts to fast gearing and immediate PvP. The crafting system is streamlined compared with x100, but it still matters โ even at extreme rates you craft gear rather than buy it from NPCs.
Euro-PVP's craft economy uses a system of recipes, components and materials. Different gear types need different components that drop in specific zones or from specific mobs. That creates competition over key locations and fuels open-world PvP.
Castle sieges are the centerpiece event of every season. Holding a castle gives a clan economic advantages โ access to exclusive resources and trade functions. Siege prep is about more than fielding a combat-ready roster; it also means economic planning: supplying the clan with gear and consumables.
Servers & Rates
Euro-PVP offers two main formats, each aimed at a different audience.
| Format | Rate | Economy | Target Audience |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mid-High | x100 | Developed crafting | Tactical PvP with economic depth |
| Ultra-High | x1200 | Streamlined crafting | Intense PvP with a fast start |
Both formats run on the Interlude chronicle, widely considered the benchmark for PvP balance in Lineage 2. The server infrastructure sits in Europe, delivering low ping for European players.
In over a decade the project has run more than 40 launches โ roughly one every 3โ4 months on average. Each new season ships updated settings and adjustments based on lessons from earlier launches.
Community
The Euro-PVP community brings together PvP-focused players from Russia, the CIS and Europe. The international mix creates a varied competitive scene where the playstyles and tactical approaches of different regional schools clash on the battlefield.
The main communication channels are Discord, Telegram and topical forums. Activity spikes during launch prep: players debate the upcoming server's settings, form clans and plan their opening-day strategies.
The craft economy shapes a unique social dynamic: beyond pure PvP, players enter economic relationships โ trading components, crafting together and controlling resource zones. That builds a more layered social fabric than pure PvP servers offer.
Streaming activity is visible around launches: sieges, mass PvP and Raid Boss fights are broadcast live and pull in a sizeable viewership.
