TL;DR: Queen Ant is the entry-level Grand Boss, found deep in the Ant Nest. She respawns every 24-30 hours and demands an organized raid of 36+. Control her summoned minions, mind her AoE, and you walk away with the Ring of Queen Ant - one of the best early-game epic jewels.

Overview

Queen Ant (often called Ant Queen, or simply AQ) is one of the easiest Epic / Grand Bosses to clear, which makes her the first epic most clans tackle. She lurks deep inside the Ant Nest. Her respawn window is 24-30 hours after death, so clans camp the timer to contest the kill. A full raid of 36 or more players is the standard, with a clean mix of roles.

Tactics

Bring a balanced raid: tanks to hold aggro, healers to sustain through her AoE, and DD to burn her down. The two threats to plan around are her summoned minions and her area attacks.

ThreatHow to handle it
Summoned minionsQueen Ant calls in escort ants. Assign off-tanks or AoE DD to control and clear them before they overwhelm your healers.
AoE attacksHer area damage is the main wipe risk. Spread the raid out, keep healers topped up, and avoid stacking melee on top of each other.
Aggro managementLock the main tank on the boss early. Loose aggro on a cloth-wearer can chain into a fast wipe.

Because she is the gentlest epic, Queen Ant is also the best place for a clan to learn raid discipline before stepping up to Core, Orfen or Baium.

Drops

The headline reward is the Ring of Queen Ant - an epic jewel that grants bonus Max HP and HP regeneration. It is one of the most valuable items in the early game and a staple of any PvP setup, so expect heavy competition for the kill.
