Overview
The Shillien Knight is a Dark Elf tank tuned for debuffs and control. You grind the enemy down with weakening effects and cubics while your party finishes the kills. It's the class for players who don't just want to hold the line — they want to dictate how the fight goes.

The Shillien Knight shares the Dark Elf school with the Dark Avenger, but leans into control and survivability instead of pure damage. The core kit is a one-handed sword plus shield and heavy armor, giving you maximum block and P.Def at high aggro. Stat priorities:

PvP & Siege
In PvP the Shillien Knight is one of the strongest tanks. Your job is simple: stack debuffs, lock down key targets and stop enemy healers from working in peace. In mass fights you act as the party's main disabler.
Tactics for castle sieges and mass PvP: dive first, stun the enemy healer or caster, layer slow and defense reduction, then let your DDs finish the immobilized target. Paired with a Bladedancer and healers, you become the core the whole push leans on.
PvE & Tanking
In PvE the Shillien Knight is a steady tank for group farming and epics. You gather mob packs onto yourself through aggro, hold threat on bosses and pull damage off vulnerable allies. The vampiric cubic tops up your HP, easing the load on your healer and letting the party farm longer between downtime. On Raid Bosses (RB) your job is to hold aggro without losing the target and to interrupt dangerous casts with a timely stun.
Pros & Cons
Strengths: powerful control (stun, slow, defense debuffs), high survivability in heavy armor, self-healing through the vampiric cubic, the best disabler for mass PvP, and reliable aggro hold in PvE.
Weaknesses: low personal damage, slow solo farming without group support, and heavy reliance on smart target selection — without locking down priority enemies the tank loses half its value. If you'd rather deal damage as a dark tank, look at the Dark Avenger.
