TL;DR: The Treasure Hunter is a human dagger assassin built around one stat โ€” critical damage. It bursts mages and archers down in a single Hide-Trick-Backstab combo, but it's fragile in an open trade and weak at AoE. Pick it if you love deleting a target with one precise strike.

Overview

The Treasure Hunter is a human dagger fighter. Dagger in hand, strike to the back, target on the ground. You deal massive single-target damage through Backstab and critical hits. It's the class for players who like to settle a fight with one precise strike.

Key Skills

SkillTypeWhat it does
BackstabPositional burstA strike from behind with a huge damage multiplier โ€” your single biggest burst tool.
HideStealthTurns you invisible so you can close in on a target unnoticed.
TrickControlSpins the enemy so their back is to you โ€” the perfect setup for Backstab.
Deadly BlowFrontal nukeA powerful frontal dagger strike for when you can't get behind the target โ€” finishes the kill in an open trade.
Switch / DashMobilityCloses the gap on a fleeing target or breaks distance against melee.

Build & Gear

The Treasure Hunter is a glass cannon tuned for a single stat: critical damage. Build priorities:

StatPriorityWhy
Critical chanceโ˜…โ˜…โ˜…More crits = more Backstab and skill burst.
Critical powerโ˜…โ˜…โ˜…Scales the size of every critical hit.
Accuracyโ˜…โ˜…โ˜…A mobile target dodges easily; a miss on a mage means your death.
Atk. Spdโ˜…โ˜…Raises sustained DPS and your evasion uptime.

Your weapon is a dagger, no exceptions โ€” the entire class kit is tied to it. Take the best dagger you can enchant for your stage and focus its SA on crit damage. Wear light armor: it grants Atk. Spd and evasion, which directly boost both your DPS and your survivability through evade. Keep crit-focused gems and consumables on hand. For armor stats and sharpening, see the item enchanting guide.

PvP

In PvP you are one of the most dangerous classes in the game. The Hide, Trick, Backstab combo deletes a target in seconds. Mages and archers fear you most โ€” they have no time to react.

The tactic is simple and ruthless: approach in stealth with Hide, spin the target with Trick, dump everything into Backstab, then finish with Deadly Blow. In mass PvP and castle sieges your job is to pick off the enemy backline โ€” healers, buffers and mages standing behind the tanks. Your main enemies are heavy armor and healers: against them one combo isn't enough, so you need a trade and party support. Compare the playstyle with the similar daggers Abyss Walker and Plains Walker.

PvE & Farming

In PvE the Treasure Hunter shines against single targets: high crit damage tears through tanky mobs and bosses fast. Against mob packs it falls behind AoE classes, so for leveling pick spots with single strong monsters rather than dense groups. Hide lets you slip past dangerous packs and reach the target you want without extra fights. For group-farm fundamentals, see the party system guide.

Pros & Cons

Strengths: one of the highest single-target damage outputs in the game, stealth and surprise openers, excellent mobility, and dominance over mages and archers in PvP.

Weaknesses: vulnerable in an open trade without a setup, heavy reliance on Accuracy and crit, weak AoE damage, and rough matchups against healers and heavy armor. For other classes and their roles, see the Hawkeye guide and the full class list.
