Overview
The Hawkeye is a human archer. It deals the highest damage of any ranged class. Your specialty is critical arrows that drop enemies from a safe distance.

The loop is simple: open with Rapid Shot, hold your distance, and alternate Double Shot for steady damage with Lethal Shot when you need to finish a target or remove a dangerous enemy.
Build & Gear
The whole point of the build is to squeeze out maximum critical damage — crits are where the entire class potential lives. Stat priorities:

For gear, take light armor for speed and evasion, plus a bow with high P.Atk and crit rate. Route accessories and augmentation into critical damage, accuracy and attack speed. Always carry the highest-grade arrows you can use — anything lower cuts your damage hard.
PvE & Farming
You farm from long range without taking hits. Paired with a tank, the Hawkeye shows excellent farming speed, and its boosted archer crits hit even harder. For group-farm fundamentals, see the party system guide.
On raid bosses and in solo farming the Hawkeye is one of the best single-target DD — a steady stream of crits delivers high DPS at no risk. On raw farming speed it often beats the stealthy Phantom Ranger, which is stronger on burst from invisibility.
PvP & Olympiad
In PvP everything revolves around distance. Kite your opponent so melee classes can't close the gap, and focus fragile targets — healers and mages. A clean Lethal Shot crit removes a target almost instantly.
Your weak point is melee survivability and crowd control: caught under stuns or roots, the archer dies fast. Positioning and timing matter more here than for the elven archers — the Silver Ranger and the dagger-class Treasure Hunter. On the Olympiad, keep your distance, kite fighters and burst mages before their shields go up.
Pros & Cons
Strengths: the highest sustained ranged damage, safe farming from distance, an easy learning curve, excellent DPS on raid bosses, and boosted criticals.
Weaknesses: low melee survivability, vulnerability to crowd control and mages, and dependence on arrows and open space — with no room to kite, your effectiveness drops.
