Overview
Augmentation injects a magic effect into your weapon through a Life Stone and a Gemstone. The Blacksmith of Mammon performs the process, and the result is random. It is one of the strongest ways to power up your character — and also the most unpredictable.
How Augmentation Works
What you need: a C-grade or higher weapon with no existing augment, a Life Stone of a suitable level, and a Gemstone of the matching grade.

Talk to the Blacksmith of Mammon, select your weapon and Life Stone, and the system rolls a random result. The higher the Life Stone level, the better your chance of a powerful effect — Mid-grade and High-grade Life Stones raise the odds for top-tier augments. Keep in mind: once augmented, the weapon is bound to you. You can no longer sell, trade or transfer it.
Augment Effects
Augments grant stat bonuses, active skills (Heal, Refresh, Empower) or passive boosts. The best rolls appear extremely rarely — less than 1%. Any augment can be removed, but it is lost permanently.

The most valuable augments: Refresh instantly resets the cooldown of all skills, Wild Magic raises magic critical rate, and Celestial Shield makes you invulnerable for a few seconds.
Tips
Use the highest-level Life Stone you can — the odds are noticeably better. If you play PvP, augmentation is mandatory: a top-tier augment can decide a fight. Only augment a weapon you plan to keep long-term, since binding removes your ability to sell it.
Got a bad augment? Remove it at the same Blacksmith of Mammon and try again — you will need a new Life Stone and Gemstone. Top-augment rates can differ from classic settings, so check the forum before committing your materials.
