The Life Stone is the main component used to augment a weapon. It comes in four grades — Low, Mid, High and Top — and the higher the grade, the stronger the augment effects you can roll. Life Stones drop from Raid Bosses (RB) and are rewarded by special quests.
Life Stone Grades

Augmentation Tips
For PvP weapons, use only High or Top Grade — saving on the stone leads to a weak augment. For PvE farming, a Mid Grade with an Empower or Might bonus is enough. Keep in mind that every augmentation attempt consumes 20–36 Gemstone A, so stock up your materials in advance. A failed augment can be removed and re-rolled, but the stone and Gemstones are spent either way.
