Overview
The Cat Merchant is an NPC that sells special buff cats, known as Cat Buffers. These are small companion pets that grant their owner passive bonuses. You can buy them for Adena or for special tokens, depending on the version of the game world.
Available Pets
The Cat Merchant offers several types of buff pet, each tuned to a different role:

Each pet has a limited duration — once it expires you simply buy a new one. Buff cats don't need feeding and follow their owner automatically.
How to Use
To summon a buff cat, use the item you received from your inventory. The cat appears next to your character and starts applying its buffs automatically. A buff cat doesn't take up your summon slot — you can keep a buff cat and a combat pet out at the same time, if your class allows it. The cat's buffs stack with buffs from a Prophet and other NPC buffers, so they're a quick way to round out your buff bar. You'll usually find the Cat Merchant in the trade districts of Giran and Aden. The exact lineup and prices can vary between game worlds.
