TL;DR: The Healing Potion instantly restores HP and is a core consumable in Lineage 2. Carry Greater Healing Potions for mid-to-high level play, bind them to a hotkey, and remember all healing potions share one cooldown โ€” you can't chug two back to back.

Overview

The Healing Potion instantly restores a chunk of HP. There are several versions โ€” Healing Potion, Greater Healing Potion and Quick Healing Potion โ€” and you buy them from any Grocery Store NPC. They are one of the most-used consumables in the game for both PvE farming and PvP survivability.

Potion Variants

PotionHP RestoredBest For
Healing Potion~200 HPThe basic potion. Solid for the early levels while your HP pool is small.
Greater Healing Potion~500 HPThe main consumable for mid and high level. Best balance of price and effectiveness.
Quick Healing PotionLess HP, short cooldownInstant heal on a shorter cooldown, but a smaller HP return per use.

At higher levels the Greater Healing Potion is the optimal pick โ€” it heals enough to matter while staying cheap enough to spam.

Usage Tips

All healing potions share a common cooldown โ€” you cannot drink two in a row, so plan your heals around it rather than panic-chugging. Bind your potion to a hotkey (F1โ€“F4 works well) for fast access in combat.

Always keep a healthy stockpile: at least 100 potions while farming and 200+ heading into PvP. A Greater Healing Potion costs roughly 1,000โ€“1,500 Adena each from the NPC โ€” a trivial expense at high level for the survivability it buys you. Stock up at any Grocery Store NPC before a grind session or a siege.
