Overview
Ancient Adena (AA) is a special currency tied to the Seven Signs system. You earn it inside catacombs and necropolises, and you spend it only at the two Mammon NPCs. It is not interchangeable with regular Adena โ think of it as a dedicated token for high-end gear services.
Where to Get It
Ancient Adena drops from monsters inside catacombs and necropolises, and from winning Seven Signs.
| Source | Details |
|---|---|
| Catacomb monsters | Drops in zones like Catacomb of Dark Omens and Catacomb of the Heretic. Amount scales with monster level and server rates. |
| Necropolis monsters | Drops in zones like the Necropolis of Sacrifice. Same scaling rules apply. |
| Seven Signs reward | The winning side of the Seven Signs cycle receives a bonus pool of Ancient Adena. |
For efficient AA farming, a party of 3-5 with a healer and a couple of DD classes clears these zones far faster than solo farming.
What to Spend It On
Ancient Adena is only useful at the Mammon NPCs, so plan your spending around their services.
| Service | NPC | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Unseal gear | Blacksmith of Mammon | Converts Sealed A-grade and S-grade equipment into usable gear. |
| Add a Special Ability | Blacksmith of Mammon | Inserts an SA (Special Ability) into your weapon. |
| Trade rare materials | Trader of Mammon | Exchanges AA for rare resources and crafting materials. |
Save up Ancient Adena ahead of time. Mammon services run into the tens of thousands of AA, and the Mammon NPCs only appear on a rotation rather than being available all the time, so a stockpile lets you act the moment they show up.
