TL;DR: The Warehouse Keeper manages your private, clan and freight storage in every town. Use it to stash spare gear, crafting materials and enchant scrolls safely โ€” stored items survive PK deaths and sieges, unlike loose inventory.

Overview

The Warehouse Keeper is the NPC that handles your private and clan storage. You'll find one in every town. Storage is the place to park anything you don't need on hand right now โ€” your default backpack only holds 80 slots, so the warehouse is essential once your loot outgrows your inventory. Private storage carries a small Adena fee, and the clan warehouse is open only to clan members.

Warehouse Types

TypeWho can accessBest for
Private WarehouseOnly the character who deposited the itemsSpare gear, materials and consumables you want kept safe but private.
Clan WarehouseAll clan members (permissions set by the leader)Shared clan resources, common gear and crafting mats.
FreightAny character on the same account, in any townMoving Adena and items between your own characters.

The Private Warehouse is per-character storage โ€” items go in and out only on the character that deposited them, and you can store almost anything, including equipment, resources and consumables. Freight lets you ship items across your own account: drop something on one character and collect it on another in any town. The Clan Warehouse is shared across the whole clan, which makes it ideal for pooling resources, but be careful โ€” it isn't protected against theft by other clan members.

Fees & Limits

Depositing and withdrawing costs a small amount of Adena that scales with the weight and quantity of items moved. Private storage holds far more than your inventory โ€” up to 200+ slots. Clan warehouse capacity depends on your clan level:

Clan levelClan warehouse slots
Level 1โ€“3100 slots
Level 4โ€“5150 slots
Level 6+200 slots

Exact fees and limits can vary by server and rate, but the structure above is the standard baseline.

Usage Tips

Store anything you don't need this session โ€” spare equipment, crafting materials and enchant scrolls. Don't carry more than you need: when you die to PK you can drop part of your inventory, but warehouse contents are always safe. Use Freight to pass Adena and items between your own characters instead of running a trade through two players. For clans, the warehouse is the cleanest way to split raid loot among members. Before a castle siege, stash your valuables so a death costs you nothing. The Warehouse Keeper works as standard and sits in every town next to the other key NPCs, such as the Gatekeeper.
