Overview
A clan is your alliance of players under a shared banner. The leader founds it at an NPC, and together you take part in castle sieges, Raid Bosses and PvP. The clan system is the foundation of the entire social game — almost every endgame activity assumes you belong to one.
Creating & Managing a Clan
To create a clan you need a level 10 character who is free of any other clan. Talk to the Grand Master NPC in town and pay 10,000 Adena. Once founded, you build out the structure: Royal Guard (elite), Order of Knights (knights) and regular members. Assign each unit a sub-leader with invite rights.
Transferring leadership to another member takes 7 days. Design your clan crest from an 8×12 pixel BMP file — it displays above the names of all your clan mates.

Clan Levels
The maximum clan level is 8. Each new level raises the member cap and unlocks clan skills. Leveling up costs Clan Reputation Points at the higher tiers.

From level 1 to 5 you raise the clan through quests — collecting items and killing Raid Bosses. From level 5 to 8 you spend Clan Reputation Points, scaling from 10,000 up to 40,000.
Clan Skills
The leader learns clan skills for Clan Reputation Points. They apply permanently to every online member, so they are one of the biggest reasons to push your clan level. Take Clan Body and Clan Spirit first — they deliver the most noticeable stat boost.

Clan Hall
A Clan Hall is your clan's home building. Buy one at auction or win it in a clan hall siege. Inside you get free teleportation, buffs, HP/MP recovery and item storage. Weekly rent is paid in Adena from the clan warehouse.
