Overview

The Dark Crystal Heavy Set (DC Heavy) is an A-grade heavy armor that balances P.Def and M.Def. It's the go-to alternative to Tallum Heavy whenever you expect heavy magic pressure.

Set Bonus

The full DC Heavy set grants bonus M.Def and magic resistance — its key edge over the Tallum Heavy Set, which is built for raw P.Def. Against nukers and mid-range classes in PvP, DC Heavy is far more effective. The set includes the helmet, breastplate, gaiters, gloves and boots. All pieces are Sealed, so you'll need them unsealed by the Blacksmith of Mammon before you can equip them.

Best Classes

DC Heavy is recommended for tanks (Paladin, Dark Avenger, Shillien Knight, Temple Knight) in PvP situations and on the Olympiad, where mages are common. For pure PvE (raid bosses, farming) Tallum Heavy is better thanks to its higher P.Def. On castle sieges, DC Heavy is the all-round pick, since you'll be fighting both physical and magic classes.
