TL;DR: Crafting turns recipes plus materials and crystals into weapons, armor and consumables. The Warsmith is the only class that can make high-grade gear (Dwarven Craft), while a Bounty Hunter spoils the rare materials. Consumables like Soulshots are the steadiest Adena earner.

Crafting Basics

The crafting system lets you create weapons, armor, consumables and other items from materials and recipes. The main crafter is the Warsmith โ€” the only class able to produce high-quality gear. Every craft needs three things: a recipe, the listed materials and crystals of the matching grade.

Crafting splits into two paths:

TypeWho can use itResult
Common CraftEvery classBasic items and consumables.
Dwarven CraftWarsmith onlyHigh-grade weapons and armor sets.

Recipe Types

Recipes come in 60% and 100% versions. The percentage is your success rate. A 100% recipe guarantees the result but costs significantly more; a 60% recipe is cheaper but a failure destroys your materials. A typical example is Recipe: Soulshot A-Grade, used to craft top-grade Soulshots.

Recipes are sorted by grade โ€” D, C, B, A and S. Higher-grade recipes call for Gemstones and Crystals. Get recipes as monster drops, from the Trader of Mammon, or on the player market.

Materials & Where to Farm Them

You gather crafting materials two ways: normal drops from monsters and spoil. The Bounty Hunter extracts rare materials from mobs โ€” your main source of crafting resources. Many of the most valuable materials are spoil-only.

Pick farming spots that match the grade you need:

Travel between zones through the Gatekeeper teleporters.

Crafting for Profit

Crafting can be a great earner. The best-selling goods are Soulshots and Spiritshots (constant consumption), enchant scrolls, and popular armor sets โ€” Tallum Heavy Set and Majestic Robe Set. Sell through your private store in Giran for the best price. For more on earning Adena, see the economy guide.

Leveling a Warsmith for Crafting

The Warsmith is not a strong fighter, so leveling one takes patience. At low levels (1โ€“40) run quests and grind mobs with buffs from the NPC Buffer, and use Soulshots to speed kills. From level 40 join parties โ€” the Warsmith contributes by summoning goblin helpers.

The alternative path is to level through crafting itself: make in-demand items, sell them, and reinvest the profit into leveling consumables. Many players keep a Warsmith as a twink, leveling it in a party alongside their main. At high levels your Warsmith becomes indispensable to a clan, churning out consumables for sieges and clan wars.

Most Profitable Recipes

Consumables are your steadiest crafting income. Recipe: Soulshot A-Grade and its Spiritshot equivalents enjoy constant demand โ€” every player burns hundreds of shots per hour. The margin is thin, but volume makes up for it. Buy Crystals in bulk from players crystallizing unwanted gear.

For bigger payouts, craft the popular sets and weapons:

ItemBuyersNotes
Tallum Heavy SetFighters / tanksSteady demand from melee classes.
Majestic Robe SetMagesRobe set for casters.
Majestic Leather SetArchers / daggersLight armor for ranged and dagger builds.
Shyeed's BowArchersHigh profit per craft; needs rare spoiled materials.

Weapon recipes give the highest profit per unit but rely on rare materials from a Bounty Hunter. Sell through your private store in Giran during prime time for the best price.
