Overview
The Enchant Weapon Scroll (EWS) increases a weapon's enchant level by +1. Enchanting is safe up to +3 on a normal weapon โ those rolls never fail destructively. Once you go above the safe threshold, a failed enchant destroys the weapon and shatters it into crystals.
Enchant Rates
Success rates drop the higher you push. Typical values look like this:
| Enchant attempt | Approx. success rate |
|---|---|
| Up to +3 (safe) | Guaranteed โ no break on fail |
| +4 | ~66% |
| +5 to +6 | ~50% |
| +7 and above | ~33% |
Exact rates vary from server to server, so check your server's settings before committing expensive scrolls.
Where to Get It
Enchant Weapon Scrolls drop from Raid Bosses, from Treasure Chests, and as quest rewards. A-grade and S-grade scrolls are far rarer than lower-grade ones. They are also commonly traded in the private shops of Giran, where an A-grade scroll typically sells for 100,000โ200,000 Adena. You can additionally obtain them by spoiling Raid Bosses with a Spoiler.
Tips
Don't waste expensive scrolls on cheap weapons โ only enchant gear you'll use long term. On a B-grade weapon you can gamble regular scrolls up to +7, since a replacement is cheap. On an A-grade weapon, stop at +4โ+6 with regular scrolls and switch to Blessed scrolls beyond that, since they keep the weapon at its current level on a fail instead of destroying it. Keep in mind: mathematically it's cheaper to buy a +0 weapon and enchant it yourself than to buy a pre-enchanted one โ but no math gives your nerves back.
