TL;DR: Trading in Lineage 2 runs on the Private Store โ€” list items for Adena and other players buy from you automatically while you stay parked in a trade zone. Use direct Trade Request windows for one-on-one deals, set up shop in Giran, and always verify items before you confirm.

Private Store

The Private Store is your main trading tool. Click "Private Store" in your action menu and choose Sell or Buy mode. In Sell mode you list items with an Adena price, and other players buy them from you automatically โ€” you do not have to do anything once the shop is open.

The store only runs while your character is logged in. Many traders leave characters with open shops parked overnight in the busiest trade zones.

Direct Trade

For a one-on-one deal, click the other player and select "Trade Request". In the trade window both sides place their items and Adena, then confirm. The system is safe โ€” the trade only completes when both players agree.

Watch out for scammers. Always verify the items in the trade window before confirming. Trading conduct is covered in the server rules.

Trade Zones

The main marketplace is Giran, where you will find the best selection and prices. For A-grade gear, Aden is also popular. Store valuable items with the Warehouse Keeper for safekeeping.

You can also buy from specialized NPCs: grocery stores (consumables), the Blacksmith of Mammon (upgrades), and the Cat Merchant (special goods).

Trading Tips

Before you list an item, check the going rate โ€” walk the shops in Giran first. Buy low, sell high โ€” classic reselling. The economy guide will help you understand pricing. Crafted items from a Warsmith often sell at a healthy markup, and Enchant Weapon Scrolls are always in demand.
