Overview
The Bounty Hunter (BH) is a Dwarf spoiler and the 2nd-class evolution of the Scavenger. Its unique role is to extract extra materials from monsters on top of their normal drops. If you want to earn from crafting materials and keep your crafter characters fully supplied, this is your class. The BH is equally strong as a solo farmer and as a raw-materials supplier inside a clan.
The BH is first and foremost an economic class: you are not a top damage dealer or a tank, but a large share of the server's materials pass through your hands. It pays to study the server economy and the recipe crafting system in advance, so you know what to sell and who to sell it to.
Spoil
The Bounty Hunter's whole playstyle revolves around two skills working as a combo: Spoil before the fight, Sweeper after the kill.
| Skill | When to use | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Spoil | Before the kill | Marks a living mob for materials extraction. The higher your skill level is relative to the target, the higher the spoil success rate. |
| Sweeper | After the kill | Collects the marked loot from the mob's corpse. Skip it and the spoil is wasted, so always sweep immediately. |
Cast Spoil before you start killing, finish the mob off, then Sweep right away. That Spoil-then-Sweeper loop is the core of the entire class.
Key Skills
Beyond Spoil and Sweeper, the Bounty Hunter has combat and utility skills that make solo farming comfortable:
| Skill | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Bluff | Control | Turns the target around, opening a window for critical hits from behind. |
| Stun Attack | Control | A blunt-weapon stun that helps you control single mobs. |
| Hammer Crush | Damage | Your main source of burst damage for fast clearing. |
| Vicious Stance | Passive | Passively raises your critical rate and critical damage. |
For more on the harvesting mechanics, see the guide to crafting and how raw materials turn into finished items.
Build & Gear
The Bounty Hunter wears heavy armor and wields a blunt weapon. The core farming build is built around three stats:
| Stat | Priority | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Atk. Spd | โ โ โ | Faster attacks mean faster kills and more spoils per hour. |
| Accuracy | โ โ โ | Misses cost you Spoil casts and kill speed โ don't whiff your mobs. |
| Critical damage | โ โ | Bigger crits clear packs faster and shorten the farm loop. |
Invest in enchanting and SA as your income grows: a stronger weapon directly speeds up farming. Before upgrading armor and weapon, check the equipment guide and the section on enchanting so you don't waste resources. Pick Soul Crystals for your Special Ability around Atk. Spd and crit.
PvP & PvE
PvE. This is where the BH is in its element: durable heavy armor, control through Stun and Bluff, and a steady flow of materials make it one of the best solo farmers in the game. In a group it fills the raw-materials supplier role while the rest of the party chases XP.
PvP. The Bounty Hunter is not a PvP class. Its damage is mediocre and its signature skill (Spoil) is useless in a duel. That said, heavy armor, Stun and Bluff let it hold its own in mass PvP and on castle sieges as a support fighter. For the fundamentals, see the PvP system guide.
Pros & Cons
Strengths: a unique income stream through spoil, excellent solo farming, strong survivability in heavy armor, high value inside a clan, and a low barrier to entry into the server economy.
Weaknesses: weak PvP potential, dependence on material demand, a grindy farming loop, and mediocre single-target damage against elites and bosses.
Farming & Income
The Bounty Hunter is the game's main supplier of crafting materials. Pick spots whose mobs drop in-demand raw materials and ingredients for popular recipes: the higher the demand for a material, the more Adena each spoil is worth. You earn by selling materials to crafters and other players. Reach out to a Warsmith or sell raw materials through trade, and find the best leveling and farming spots in the Adena farming guide.
