Overview
The Seven Signs Priest is the NPC at the center of the Seven Signs event. Through this NPC you join one of two factions (Dawn or Dusk), turn in Seal Stones and tip the balance of the server. The winning side gains access to the Blacksmith and Trader of Mammon. Seven Signs is a global, server-wide system: it decides the balance of power and unlocks unique benefits for whoever wins the cycle.
Registration & Choosing a Side
The Seven Signs Priest lets you register for one of two factions:
| Faction | Theme | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Lords of Dawn | Light | Traditionally the more popular side, since a Dawn victory leaves the world in more convenient, player-friendly conditions. |
| Revolutionary Army of Dusk | Dark | The faction of darkness. A Dusk victory makes the world harsher but unlocks its own rewards. |
Registration is open to characters level 75+. It opens at the start of each cycle (a cycle runs 1โ2 weeks). Your choice is locked for the whole cycle โ you cannot switch sides midway. When you register you also pick one of three Seals:
| Seal | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Seal of Avarice | Opens the Catacombs. |
| Seal of Gnosis | Opens the Necropolis. |
| Seal of Strife | Affects castle siege mechanics. |
Each Seal grants its own bonus to the side that wins it.
Seal Stones & Points
Seal Stones are the currency of the event, farmed in the Catacombs and Necropolis (the Seven Signs dungeons). There are three types, each worth a different number of points:
| Seal Stone | Points | Ancient Adena |
|---|---|---|
| Blue Seal Stone | 3 | 3 AA |
| Green Seal Stone | 5 | 5 AA |
| Red Seal Stone | 10 | 10 AA |
You hand Seal Stones to the Seven Signs Priest in favor of your chosen side. The more points your faction banks, the better its odds of winning the cycle. In return you receive Ancient Adena (AA) โ the currency used by the Blacksmith and Trader of Mammon. Save your Ancient Adena: you need it to buy A/S-grade materials from the Trader of Mammon.
World Effects
The result of Seven Signs reshapes the entire server:
| Outcome | Effect on the world |
|---|---|
| Dawn wins | The world stays in daylight. The Blacksmith and Trader of Mammon are available in towns, and the Catacombs/Necropolis run with bonuses for Dawn. |
| Dusk wins | The world falls into darkness, monsters turn more aggressive, and special mobs appear. The Blacksmith and Trader of Mammon are available only to Dusk members. |
| Draw | A neutral state โ the Mammon NPCs are unavailable to everyone. |
The Seal your side controls matters too. Holding the Seal of Avarice raises the drop rate in the Catacombs. The Seal of Gnosis grants extra XP in the Necropolis. The Seal of Strife changes how castle sieges play out. Cycles run on a regular schedule under the standard Seven Signs rules.
