Overview
Hellbound is a zone with a progressive quest system. To open it, the entire server has to clear certain stages. You kill mobs, collect items and raise the zone's access level. It's one of the hardest endgame zones in the game, and pushing progress takes server-wide coordination.
Access Levels
Hellbound unlocks in stages through the combined effort of every player on the server. Progress depends on Trust points, which the whole server earns by killing mobs inside the zone โ the more you and everyone else farm, the faster new content opens.
| Access Level | What unlocks | Mob level |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 (Start) | Starting area | 78โ80 |
| Level 2โ3 | New territories and quests | 80โ82 |
| Level 4โ5 | Access to the Steel Citadel and stronger mobs | 82+ |
| Level 6+ | Final zones and bosses | Highest |
Main Quests
| Quest | What you do |
|---|---|
| Entering Hellbound | Complete the quest from NPC Kief near Hellbound and obtain the pass item (drops from mobs or comes from an NPC). |
| Trust grinding quests | Kill specific mobs and turn in their drops to NPCs inside the zone to raise server Trust. |
| Steel Citadel | A quest chain to breach the fortress โ kill the guards, collect keys and clear the floors. |
| Baylor | An instance quest inside the Steel Citadel, available at high access levels. |
Hellbound progression may be accelerated or adjusted from server to server compared to the classic chronicle.
Rewards & Drops
Hellbound mobs drop valuable resources: S-grade materials and recipes, Attribute Stones (elemental stones for enchanting weapons and armor) and rare crafting ingredients. Zone bosses drop unique earrings, rings and necklaces with elemental bonuses. Quests grant large amounts of XP and Adena. Once your server reaches a high access level, Hellbound becomes one of the best high-level farming zones in the game.
