Overview
The Sword Singer is an Elven tank-buffer. You empower the entire group with Song buffs while doubling as a tank. No serious raid runs without one.

Group Play
The SWS is a mandatory slot in any raid group. Pair up with a Blade Dancer and together you provide the full Song/Dance buff set. Stacking two buffers raises party survivability and DPS so much that epic-boss raids and high-level farming spots clear noticeably faster.
Build & Gear
The Sword Singer is a hybrid of tank and support, so stats lean toward survivability and reliable song casting. The core kit is a two-handed sword with high P.Atk and heavy armor that grants a deep pool of P.Def and M.Def. Unlike pure DDs, you don't chase maximum damage — your value is in buffs and holding mob aggro off the group.

Solo, the SWS farms slowly, so leveling is almost always done in a party. The fastest route is to support a group of physical DDs or mages and level off their kills while keeping everyone buffed. Soul Crystals & Enchanting
Level Song of Earth and Song of Wind first, then expand your arsenal to match your group's needs. Enchant your weapon for P.Atk and aggro reliability, and your armor for defense so you can hold the line and survive focus fire.
PvP & PvE
In PvE the Sword Singer fills two roles at once: it tanks mobs and keeps constant Song buffs on the party. It shines on long farm sessions and in raids, where steady P.Def and Atk. Spd gains save heals and speed up kills.
In mass PvP and castle sieges the SWS is a key support. Its songs empower the whole party, and heavy armor lets it survive enemy focus. In a 1v1 duel it is weak — low personal damage — and the class only truly comes online in a team. The SWS often pairs with tanks like the Paladin and Dark Avenger, layering defensive buffs over them.
Pros & Cons
Strengths: unique Song buffs, high survivability in heavy armor, demand in every party and raid, and the ability to tank mobs. The SWS almost always finds a spot in a group.
