Overview
To start playing, download the client from the official website. Run the installer and follow the prompts — it takes about 5 minutes. Once installed, the launcher keeps the game up to date automatically, so you only set it up once.

Updates & Patches
After the first install, the client updates automatically. On every startup the launcher compares your local file versions against the server and downloads only what changed — there's no need to reinstall the whole game. Before major updates (new zones, events, raids) the launcher may pull a patch of several hundred megabytes, so keep at least 2–3 GB of free disk space.
File Integrity Check
If the game suddenly crashes or throws a texture error, use the launcher's file verification feature (Check Files / Repair). It rescans the client and replaces corrupted or partially downloaded files without a full reinstall. This is the first thing to try before wiping and reinstalling the game.
Troubleshooting

After Installation
Once the client is installed and updated, register a game account on the website and create your first character.
