Overview
To reach the Antharas lair, register at the Heart of Warding NPC. You need a raid of 36 to 72 players. Once everyone enters, the portal closes and the fight begins. Antharas is one of the three great dragons and one of the strongest Grand Bosses in the game.
Raid Preparation
The minimum level is 75, but bring level 78+. The optimal raid composition is:
| Role | Parties | Recommended classes |
|---|---|---|
| Tanks | 2-3 full parties | Shillien Templar or Dark Avenger (for debuffs) |
| Damage Dealers (DD) | 3-4 parties | Mages and archers โ ranged outperforms melee here |
| Support | 2-3 parties | Bishop, Prophet, Swordsinger, Blade Dancer |
Every member should carry: Blessed Scroll of Resurrection, HP and MP potions, and Soulshots, Spiritshots or Blessed Spiritshots of A-grade or higher. Equip jewelry with Earth Resist โ Antharas attacks with Earth-element damage.
Entry Procedure
The Heart of Warding NPC sits in Dragon Valley, inside the cave at Antharas' Lair. Your raid leader talks to the NPC and registers the raid. After registration you have a limited window to enter โ everyone must step through the portal before it closes. Teleporting inside the lair is disabled: the only way out is death or victory. Antharas appears a few minutes after entry. Entry conditions can differ between game worlds, so confirm the current requirements before you go.
Tips
Make sure every member has full buffs โ inside the lair your buffers handle rebuffs after deaths. Spread your Bishops across different parties and assign clear resurrection duty. Don't bunch up: Antharas' AoE attacks deal massive area damage. Tanks rotate aggro (hate skills) so Antharas doesn't switch onto the DD. Archers and mages attack from maximum range. The fight lasts 15-30 minutes depending on your raid's strength.
