Overview
The Bishop is the main healer of the Human race. You have the strongest healing and resurrection spells in the game, which makes you irreplaceable in any party. You don't kill things — you keep everyone who does alive.

Build & Gear
The Bishop is a robe-wearing support caster. Your whole kit is built around healing fast and never running dry. Stat priorities:

For your weapon, take a magic focus with the Acumen Special Ability (SA) to boost casting speed, or a blunt weapon if you prefer. For armor, go with a robe set such as Majestic Robe or Major Arcana, prioritizing MP and casting stats. Don't skip weapon augmentation and Soul Crystals to level your SA. Raising your attributes strengthens your output and cuts the damage you take. Stock jewelry built around MP and MP regen, and carry MP recovery consumables for long fights.
PvP & Olympiad
In mass PvP the Bishop decides the trade. You strip the enemy's critical buffs with Cancellation, heal the focus target, and resurrect fallen allies between waves. The golden rule is positioning: stand behind your frontline and control line of sight so you aren't picked off first. A Bishop paired with a tank and a support breaks the exchange in castle sieges and group fights.
On the Olympiad the Bishop is a defensive duelist — you out-sustain opponents rather than burst them. Watch for silence and crowd control, keep MP in reserve, and never let an enemy close into melee range uncontested. PvE & Raids
In farming and raids the Bishop is a non-stop stream of healing. Greater Group Heal holds the whole party together under AoE damage, while Resurrection saves enormous time after a wipe on a boss. On tough Raid Bosses (RB) keep your MP above 60% so there's always a reserve for an emergency heal or a quick res. A good Bishop doesn't react to damage after it lands — you read the boss phases and pre-cast to cover the spike before it hits.

Pros & Cons
Strengths: the strongest single-target and group heals, near-instant Battle Heal, resurrection with XP recovery, buff dispel in PvP, and constant demand in every party and raid.
Weaknesses: almost zero personal damage, heavy reliance on MP, vulnerability to focus fire and silence in PvP, and a near-mandatory tank-and-support pairing. Solo farming is slow, so the class is built around team play. If you'd rather mix healing with offense, look at the Shillien Saint.
