Overview
The Shillien Saint is the 3rd-class evolution of the dark elf healer along the Shillien Elder (Shillien Oracle) line. You don't just heal allies โ you weaken enemies with debuffs at the same time. The Bishop heals harder and Eva's Saint supports mages better, but only you can attack the enemy without ever stopping your party heals. The class unlocks after level 76.
Key Skills
| Skill | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Stigma of Shillien | Debuff | Your signature skill. Drops the target's stats hard and sets you apart from every other healer. |
| Greater Heal | Heal | Your main single-target heal that keeps the party alive. |
| Recharge | Support | Restores MP to allies, keeping mages and supports in their rotation. |
| Resurrection | Utility | Revives fallen allies while recovering lost XP. |
You also cleanse negative effects from the party and apply protective buffs. Your debuff kit is wider than any other healer's, which lets you actively shape the flow of a fight.
Party Play
In a party you combine the healer and debuffer roles. In a PvP party this is priceless โ your debuffs weaken the enemy while your DDs finish targets off. In a castle siege, Stigma of Shillien can break the momentum of a fight. In PvE you keep the group healed, though the Bishop heals harder. Bring a Prophet or Warcryer along to round out buffs โ together you cover every party need.
Gear
| Slot | Pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Armor | Robe set (Casting Spd, MP) | Faster casts mean faster heals and debuffs; MP keeps you running. |
| Weapon + Shield | Mace or magic blunt with a shield | The shield is mandatory โ you're the first PvP target and won't survive without it. |
| Jewelry | MP, Casting Spd, M.Def | Survivability and uptime under enemy focus fire. |
At higher levels take an S-grade robe set with casting bonuses โ you cast faster, so you heal and debuff faster. Don't skip weapon augmentation to add useful effects, and raise your attributes to cut incoming damage.
Progression
Your path: a dark elf mystic becomes a Shillien Oracle at level 20, a Shillien Elder at 40, and after level 76 and the 3rd class transfer quest, a Shillien Saint. You level in a party like every healer. Solo farming is slow, but thanks to your debuffs you handle it better than a Bishop or Eva's Saint. At high levels, PvP clans and siege groups will be hunting for you.
PvP Debuff Tactics
You are the one healer who actively shapes PvP through debuffs, so prioritize your targets. In mass PvP, land Stigma of Shillien on enemy healers first โ it cripples their output and speeds up your DDs. Your second priority is the tanks that screen those healers.
In small skirmishes, flip the order: debuff the aggressor first, then switch back to healing. Above all, remember you're a healer. The classic rookie mistake is over-committing to debuffs and losing the party. Veteran Shillien Saints alternate debuffs and heals, slipping weakening effects into the gaps between Greater Heal casts. In sieges, coordinate your debuffs with the Overlord and other supports for maximum pressure.
Healer Comparison
There are three 3rd-class healers: the Cardinal (Bishop), Eva's Saint and the Shillien Saint. The Cardinal heals the hardest and is considered the best PvE healer โ its heals are stronger and its buffs more universal. Eva's Saint is tuned for mage groups thanks to efficient Recharge and Prophecy of Water.
You fill a unique niche: the aggressive healer. If your clan lives on PvP and sieges, you bring more value than a Cardinal or Eva's Saint. For pure PvE farming, they're more efficient. The ideal setup is two healers in a party โ a Cardinal for primary healing and you for debuffs and backup heals.
