Overview
The Elven Elder is an Elf healer and buffer rolled into one class. You heal, hand out buffs and restore MP to allies through Recharge. That Recharge is exactly what makes the EE irreplaceable in any mage party.
Key Skills
| Skill | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Recharge | MP restore | Restores MP to an ally. If your party runs mages, this is the skill you cannot live without. |
| Heal | Healing | Core healing. Weaker than a Bishop, but more than enough for most PvE situations. |
| Clarity | Buff | Passively lowers MP cost. The whole party spends less MP and farms longer without downtime. |
Build & Gear
The Elven Elder is a robe-wearing support class, so gear priority goes to MP, MP regen and casting speed rather than defense.
| Stat | Priority | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Max MP / MP regen | โ โ โ | Fuels Recharge and Heal โ your party's lifeline. |
| Casting Speed | โ โ โ | Faster Recharge and Heal land support exactly when it's needed. |
| M.Atk | โ โ | Scales your healing output. |
| Resistances | โ โ | Robe wearers are fragile; resists help you stay alive. |
Level Recharge and Heal first: they decide how long your party holds out in a farm or a fight. Grab Clarity the moment it opens โ it saves MP across the whole party and indirectly buffs every mage beside you. For a magic focus, prioritize an SA geared toward MP or casting speed, and don't skip weapon augmentation and Soul Crystals.
Party Role
The Elven Elder is the engine of a mage party. As long as an EE is up, nukers like the Sorcerer and Spellhowler can pour out damage with almost no pauses to recover MP. Pair an EE with a strong buffer like the Prophet and a Bishop healer, and an ordinary party turns into a steady farm machine. A well-drilled mage group built around the Elven Elder delivers the best Adena and XP output. For group-farm fundamentals, see the party system guide.
PvP & PvE
In PvE the Elven Elder keeps the party moving: it heals spike damage, restores MP after drawn-out fights and never lets the mages idle. In PvP the role shifts toward survival and support โ a well-timed Recharge can swing a mass fight, letting your nukers cast again at the critical moment. The EE rarely goes solo; its strength shines in a team, so the class is only as valuable as your party is coordinated. On the Olympiad it is a niche pick, but in group content it is a cornerstone.
Pros & Cons
Strengths: the unique Recharge, party-wide MP savings through Clarity, reliable healing and constant demand in any mage party. The Elf race grants strong MP and casting-speed numbers.
Weaknesses: poor robe-wearer survivability, low personal damage and near-total uselessness in solo farming. The EE's effectiveness is heavily tied to having MP-hungry allies nearby. If you'd rather compare support roles, look at the Bishop, Prophet and Warcryer.
