Overview
Cat's Eye Bandit is a level 15 humanoid mob and one of the first aggressive enemies newcomers meet around Gludio. It's a human bandit that preys on travelers along the roads between towns. Because Cat's Eye Bandit is tied to several starter quests, it becomes a mandatory target for characters during the early leveling stages.
Stats & Drop
The mob has roughly 300 HP and low defense. It drops small amounts of Adena, basic consumables (healing potions, scrolls) and No-grade and D-grade craft materials. With Spoil (the Spoil skill of the Bounty Hunter) you can extract Animal Bone, Animal Skin and other basic resources. The drop rate for quest items depends on the active quest.
Tactics
Cat's Eye Bandit poses no real threat to characters at level 15 and above. Newcomers at level 10โ13 should be careful, though: the mob is aggressive and may attack first. A character level of 14โ18 is ideal for comfortable farming. It suits solo leveling on any class. In a party the area clears almost instantly, so solo farming is the more efficient option here.
Location
Cat's Eye Bandit roams the plains between Gludio and Dion, mostly along the roads. The highest concentration is south and southeast of Gludio, around Windmill Hill and the adjacent fields. Its spawn area overlaps with other mobs of a similar level, so you can rotate targets for uninterrupted farming.
