Overview
A Special Ability (SA) bakes a special effect into your weapon. The Blacksmith of Mammon performs the insertion. SA is available on B-grade weapons and above, and each weapon offers a choice of 2-3 different SAs.
Adding an SA
Find the Blacksmith of Mammon. He spawns in the Catacombs and Necropolis whenever the Dawn side wins the Seven Signs. Pick your weapon and an SA from the available list, then pay the materials by grade:

The exact amount depends on the weapon type. The SA is added at a 100% success rate, so there is no failure. Want to swap your SA? Visit the Blacksmith again, but the previous SA is removed. Crystallizing the weapon destroys the SA with it, while enchanting and the SA do not affect each other.

The SA system follows the standard mechanics across the game world. To deepen the effect on your weapon, pair your SA with augmentation and the attribute system for the strongest possible setup.
