TL;DR: A clan is the backbone of endgame Lineage 2 โ€” it unlocks clan skills, castle sieges and large-scale PvP. Reach level 10 and spend 10,000 Adena to create one, then grind reputation points through clan quests, clan wars and sieges to climb from level 1 to level 8.

Creating a Clan

To create a clan in Lineage 2, reach level 10 and pay 10,000 Adena. Talk to the Grand Master in any town and choose the create-clan option. Pick a unique clan name that follows the server rules.

Once created, you become the clan leader. Your clan starts at level 1 and holds a limited number of members. For the full breakdown, see the clan system article.

Levels & Progression

A clan grows from level 1 to level 8. Each level raises the member cap and unlocks new features. To level up, complete clan quests, bank reputation points and recruit the required number of members.

Clan LevelWhat it unlocks
Level 1โ€“4Larger member cap, basic clan skills.
Level 5Access to castle sieges and siege registration.
Level 6Royal Guard sub-units.
Level 8All clan features, including a clan hall via the Clan Hall Manager.

Clan skills are powerful passive bonuses that apply to every clan member. You learn them with reputation points. They raise HP, MP, P.Atk, M.Atk, defense and speed across the whole clan. An Overlord stacks extra buffs on top through its clan-wide spells.

Learn skills in the right order: HP and defense first for survivability, then attack skills to speed up farming. PvP clans should prioritize speed and crowd-control resistance. For more on open-world fights, see the PvP guide.

Skill TypePriorityWhy
HP / Defenseโ˜…โ˜…โ˜…Keeps members alive in PvE grinding and mass PvP.
P.Atk / M.Atkโ˜…โ˜…Faster farming and more damage in fights.
Speed / CC resistโ˜…โ˜… (PvP)Critical for siege and open-world domination clans.

Clan Wars & Sieges

Declare clan wars from the clan menu. During a war, PvP between the warring clans gives no Karma โ€” this is the main tool for open-world PvP. Castle sieges are the centerpiece clan event in Lineage 2. The winning clan controls the castle, collects territory income and gains access to the Castle Chamberlain.

To join sieges you need at least a level 5 clan. Bring a full roster: healers (Bishop), buffers (Prophet) and tanks (Paladin). For gear priorities, see the equipment guide.

Reputation Points โ€” How to Farm

Clan reputation points are the currency for learning clan skills and leveling up. Bank them three ways: complete clan quests, win clan wars, and capture castles in sieges. Killing a member of a warring clan grants reputation, while dying loses it โ€” don't start a war unless you're confident you can win it.

Daily clan quests give a steady, safe flow of reputation. Spread the quests so every member runs at least one a day. A clan of 30 active players can bank 3,000โ€“5,000 points a week from quests alone. With good organization, you'll learn all the basic clan skills in 2โ€“3 weeks.

Clan Organization & Roles

A strong clan is built on a clear structure. As the clan leader you make the strategic calls: joining sieges, declaring wars and distributing resources. Your officers handle the day-to-day โ€” recruiting newcomers, organizing farm parties and keeping discipline.

For sieges, recruit: at least 2โ€“3 Bishop for mass healing, 2 Prophet for buffs, 3โ€“4 tanks (Paladin or Dark Avenger) on the front line, and the rest as damage dealers. For PvP content you'll want an Overlord for clan buffs and a Sword Singer for auras. Assign officers to collect Adena for the clan warehouse โ€” regular contributions keep the clan moving forward.
